Schedule inspections through the eTRAKiT portal. Sign in to your eTRAKiT account. Click on the permit record (located on 'my dashboard') to request an inspection.
Effective January 1, 2024, inspections scheduled Monday - Friday before 4:00 pm, will be on the schedule for the next available day. Every attempt will be made to honor AM/PM requests but arrival during those time frames is not guaranteed. Check for inspection times on the day of your inspection after 8 am to see a 'tentative' target time through the eTRAKiT portal. (you do not need to sign into your account – click on ‘Scheduled’ under the Inspections tab and click on the permit number) Please note: the inspector has a four-hour window - the inspector may arrive one hour to two hours before the target time or one hour to two hours after the target time.

PE ENGINEER LETTERS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE FOUNDATION SYSTEM - REQUIRED BY THE FIRST FRAME. (UPLOAD COPY TO THE PERMIT THROUGH eTRAKiT. , SCHEDULE THE PE ENGINEER INSPECTION AND GIVE ORIGINAL LETTER TO INSPECTOR)
SPECIAL INSPECTIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED TO THE PERMIT RECORD THROUGH THE eTRAKiT PORTAL AND GIVE THE ORIGINAL TO INSPECTOR.
The Permit, Permit Reviews, Permit Inspection card/sheet, and the City stamped approved plans are required to be kept at the job site for the inspector to perform inspections. Print the pages on the correct size of paper without shrinking the stamped approved plans. Plans must be legible for inspections to be performed.
